Using Pyinstaller (http://www.pyinstaller.org/),  a self extracting executable file was created containing everything needed in one "easy to use" file. To install the program in your linux system, simply download the tarball containing the self extracting executable file as well as various bits and pieces it needs to run.

Instructions:
Download the Stand Alone Executable file (tarball, miramath_bin.tar.bz2) to some directory on your filesystem

CD into the same directory where the file was downloaded

Type:  tar -xvjf miramath_bin.tar.bz2

Type ./miramath to start up the self extracting file.
